Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Progressive Care Unit. The nurse will work with adult and geriatric populations, primarily caring for patients who are post-stroke, stable neuro surgery patients, telemetry patients, and other medical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and perform routine procedures as necessary.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a comparable setting.
• Experience in telemetry and medical nursing is preferred.
