Overview: Hourly pay $17 an hr

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Adult Day Training (ADT) program. This role supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a structured, engaging daytime setting focused on life skills, socialization, and personal growth. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment with individuals who may have behavioral challenges.

Duties:

• Provide supervision, support, and assistance to adult participants throughout the day
• Assist with daily activities, life skills, recreational activities, and group programming
• Support participants with communication, social interaction, and positive behavior
• Ensure participant safety and follow all program rules and procedures
• Document daily notes, incident reports, and activity participation as required
• Assist with meals, hygiene reminders, and mobility as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful environment
• Work collaboratively with other staff and follow direction from supervisors
• Document all care activities thoroughly and accurately while respecting confidentiality and privacy standards.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Must be 18 years+ required
• High School diploma or GED required
• CPR/First aid certification
• Must be able to work daytime hours Monday–Friday from 8am-2pm
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges preferred
• Must be patient, dependable, and able to work as part of a team
• Comfortable managing behaviors in a calm and professional manner
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist participants throughout the day
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Reliable and Punctual
