Scheduler - Adult Medical Rehabilitation

Under the general direction of applicable department leaders and the Operations Manager, the Scheduler performs a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the Medical Rehabilitation department. The Scheduler is responsible for supporting the therapy teams and patients through daily schedule navigation, organization and enhancement of operations through schedule system implementation, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (e.g., business, logistics, communications, marketing) preferred or relevant work experience. High school diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of work-related experience in a healthcare related office setting and interfacing with patients. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Strong initiative and ability to grow within all aspects of responsibilities. Knowledge, Skills, Licensure, Certification Good knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills. Ability to operate standard word processing packages. Comfortable with public contact and working with persons with disabilities. Knowledge of medical terminology and strong organizational skills desired.
