Responsibilities

• Make set ups, operate, and monitor a 6 color 40” Heidelberg Speedmaster offset printing press.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance to ensure the press is operating according to specifications.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout print runs to ensure consistent, accurate, and high-quality output.
• Perform color matching to maintain color consistency across repeat and ongoing jobs.
• Use Zapco’s production platform to update job statuses, including marking jobs as in progress and complete.
• Cut paper to the required sizes according to job specifications.
• Burn printing plates using a Heidelberg Suprasetter.

Skills/Requirements

• 1-2 years experience with offset printing presses.
• Must lift over 50lbs.
• Strong knowledge and experience operating offset printing presses, including the 6 color 40” Heidelberg Speedmaster, and Suprasetter.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills related to industrial printing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and ensuring completed orders meet customer specifications.
