Spectrolab offers a break from the famously difficult Los Angeles commutes.Position Responsibilities:Provide sustaining process engineering support for production of solar cell wafers and solar cell assembliesMaintain process control using Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools, troubleshoot process anomalies, understand operation of process equipment, and provide timely response to manufacturing issues and needsInteract closely with teams within the larger Operations group to achieve organizational goalsIdentify and execute continuous improvement and breakthrough new product or process ideas to reduce process cycle time, reduce product cost, and improve product performanceSupport Research and Development (R&D) activities associated with advancing solar cell technologies and reducing the cost of the productsEmbrace and foster a working culture where safety is a top priorityAnticipate and drive innovative solutions to create valueAdopt an entrepreneurial mindset and take smart risksMaintain a productive sense of urgency
