Position Overview:

MLR Healthcare is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. In this role, you will conduct a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring precise and reliable results that are essential for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced laboratory tests in microbiology, hematology, chemistry, and blood banking.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to established protocols and quality control procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and suggest additional testing when required.
• Accurately document all procedures and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff and students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent from a recognized certifying body (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
