Sr. Product Manager, Global Marketing

Becton Dickinson seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead strategic marketing initiatives for its Advanced Patient Monitoring capital systems portfolio. The role involves driving platform strategy, customer discovery, roadmap development, and commercialization planning for patient monitoring solutions across acute care settings while partnering with R&D, clinical, and commercial teams globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead upstream marketing strategy and roadmap planning for Advanced Patient Monitoring capital systems portfolio
- Drive Voice of Customer activities and customer discovery to identify clinical and operational needs
- Translate market and customer insights into product concepts, requirements, and portfolio recommendations
- Partner with R&D, engineering, clinical, and commercial teams throughout product development lifecycle
- Develop business cases, financial analyses, and commercialization assessments for investment decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8-12+ years in product management, upstream marketing, or commercial leadership in medical devices
- Experience with Voice of Customer, roadmap development, and strategic portfolio planning
- Background with complex capital systems or integrated hardware/software platforms
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in matrixed organizations
- Strong commercial acumen and market analysis skills
- Executive presentation and stakeholder management capabilities
