Overview Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is a national security solutions provider with more than 50 years of experience. SPA’s Strategic Division supports high‑reliability organizations such as the Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy. Location Spice’s Regional Strike System Group (RSSG) is hiring a Contract Specialist at its Maritime Plaza Office in Washington, DC. Compensation Washington, DC pay transparency range: $100,000–$160,000. Compensation includes competitive base pay and variable opportunities. Responsibilities Develop and coordinate acquisition documentation such as Statements of Work, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Justifications and Approvals, and Determinations and Findings. Draft, review, and submit procurement packages and contract modifications. Track contract actions and provide status updates to leadership. Collaborate with technical leads, financial analysts, and program managers to ensure cross‑functional alignment. Interface with contracting officers and government stakeholders to facilitate timely contract execution. Contribute to program meetings and briefings by providing acquisition updates and recommendations. Support compliance with DoD acquisition regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and Navy‑specific policies. Required Qualifications U.S. citizen with a DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Strong understanding of federal acquisition lifecycle and related documentation. Minimum of 3 years of experience in government finance and acquisitions or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Navy or DoD acquisition systems (e.g., Navy ERP, ETMS2, PIEE, SPS/PD2) is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desired Qualifications DAWIA contracting (professional) certification. CFCM, CCCM, or CPCM certification. Experience supporting Navy SSP, other Navy program offices, or DoD acquisition programs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
