About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license in Tennessee Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: - MS/Tele experience - IV insertion skills Description: Providing quality health care for the community for over 60 years. The facility employs more than 1,000 staff members and 300 physicians. It is fully accredited and governed by a local board of trustees. The facility has 167 beds and holds Level III Trauma Center status. All clinical staff must be checked against the State Abuse Registry prior to assignment. This role involves working in a medical-surgical unit serving all age groups. Candidates may be required to float to similar medical-surgical units as needed. Patient care equipment includes Omnicell for medication dispensing. The electronic health record system is Meditech. The ideal candidate will possess a professional demeanor. Dress code includes any scrub color, but casual wear is not acceptable. This position is a replacement for permanent staff.
