Role Overview The Social Media Manager will be responsible for driving Cha Cha Matcha’s social media strategy, brand voice, and cross-platform presence. This role blends creative thinking, marketing strategy, and hands-on execution , ensuring every post, caption, campaign, and conversation reinforces our brand DNA. You’ll help set the tone, guide content direction, and partner closely with creators, marketing, and leadership to turn social media into a powerful brand-building and community engagement channel. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Brand Voice Own and evolve Cha Cha Matcha’s social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms Define and maintain a consistent, recognizable brand voice across all social channels Translate brand, marketing, and business goals into creative, social-first strategies Ensure Cha Cha Matcha remains culturally relevant, playful, and aspirational Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging cultural moments Content & Creative Oversee content ideation, planning, and execution, including short-form video, photography, and social storytelling Provide creative direction for shoots, campaigns, product launches, and key brand moments Develop platform-specific content while maintaining a cohesive brand identity Review and refine captions, visuals, and messaging to ensure quality and brand alignment Identify opportunities to create timely, engaging, and culturally relevant content Marketing & Growth Partner with marketing and leadership on product launches, seasonal campaigns, store initiatives, and broader brand priorities Analyze social media performance and trends to optimize content, timing, and formats Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with broader marketing initiatives Identify opportunities to drive audience growth, engagement, awareness, and brand affinity through social media Use performance insights to continuously refine social strategy and content Community & Collaboration Set and maintain the tone for community engagement across comments, DMs, reposts, and other social interactions Collaborate with influencers, content creators, and brand partners Work cross-functionally with operations, store teams, marketing, and creative partners to identify and capture relevant brand moments Support influencer and creator partnerships that align with Cha Cha Matcha’s brand and audience What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, brand marketing, or a related field Strong background in brand strategy, storytelling, content development, and voice Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and evolving social media platforms Proven ability to think strategically while remaining creatively hands-on Strong copywriting instincts with a clear, confident point of view Experience managing social media for a lifestyle, fashion, food & beverage, hospitality, wellness, or culture-driven brand Strong understanding of social media analytics and how to translate performance data into actionable insights Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment Bonus Points Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, wellness, or fashion Familiarity with influencer marketing and creator partnerships Experience working alongside content creators, photographers, or creative teams Strong eye for aesthetics, visual storytelling, and cultural timing Passion for matcha, wellness, and community-forward brands What Success Looks Like A distinct and consistent Cha Cha Matcha voice across social platforms Social content that feels native, intentional, engaging, and culturally tuned-in Strong engagement, saves, shares, community growth, and brand affinity Successful social support for product launches, campaigns, and key brand initiatives Social media that meaningfully strengthens brand perception and community — not just metrics Iconic, cult-loved brand with a clear identity Opportunity to have real ownership and creative influence Fast-moving, culture-first environment Collaborative and entrepreneurial team Opportunity to grow alongside the brand Commitment to Equity & Accessibility Cha Cha Matcha is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
