This job is responsible for providing moderately complex research, reporting, and analytical support for the delivery of end-to-end support for Global Operations, sales, trading/underwriting business for securities, foreign exchange, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives, and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple Lines of Business. Key responsibilities include carrying out duties under general supervision and assisting teammates while following established procedures. Job expectations include performing Customer Identification Program and Customer Due Diligence refresh processes.

This job is will support Global Accounting & Reconciliation as a member of the Control and Reporting team. Functions include but are not limited to: Reconciliation data governance, running and implementing controls to reduce risk across the recon utility, generating reconciliation reports to support global markets operations, and overall support of the operating model. This job will be responsible for providing moderately complex research, reporting, and analytical support for the delivery of end-to-end support for Global Operations, sales, trading/underwriting business for securities, foreign exchange, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives, and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple Lines of Business.

Responsibilities:

• Run metric based controls that measure the health of the reconciliation space and report the findings of those controls to risk partners
• Maintaining the reconciliation database, including updating functions and functional ownership
• Liaising with Global Markets Operations (GMO) and Reconciliation partners to solve complex recon problems
• Maintains accuracy of client portfolio using internal and external comparison tools
• Performs research and conducts moderately complex analyses using established techniques, including transactions that require special handling and exception handling
• Explores methods to enhance processes, further reduce risks, and boost client experience
• Partners with colleagues on the trade and sales support teams, as well as external agents
• Creates reports and liaises with internal partners to ensure proper client reporting and assist with regulatory reporting
• Escalates potential risks and exposures to manager in a timely manner
• Assists with ad-hoc projects, new processes, or initiatives requiring coordination among subject matter experts representing multiple product areas or functions

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of intermediate-level Excel experience.
• 1-3 years of experience with reconciliation systems/design
• 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry​
• Presentable, confident and client focused.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present to an audience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
• Demonstrated experience liaising with and influencing all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds.
• Self-motivated and inquisitive. Successful candidate will be able to manage own time, prioritize to meet tight deadlines and know when to escalate.
• Strong focus on attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications:
