Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a night shift role. This position requires a strong background in labor and postpartum care, as well as experience in a Level 2 nursery setting.

Shift Details

Night shifts: 12-hour shifts starting at 6:15 PM and ending at 5:45 AM
Weekly hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns in the Level 2 nursery.
Utilize advanced nursing skills and clinical knowledge to monitor patient health and respond to critical needs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Document all patient care activities and maintain accurate patient records.
Adhere to established protocols and best practices to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Previous experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or CPR certification from an approved vendor is required.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
Experience in the NICU is required.

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided if needed; otherwise, eggplant colored scrubs are expected. Candidates must demonstrate competency in critical care and possess relevant certifications to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
