Position Details

• Location: Suwanee, GA
• Setting: School-based
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Caseload: School-aged students
• Start Date: ASAP / upcoming school year
• Experience: Experienced SLPs and CFYs welcome
• Supervision: Clinical supervision available for CFYs
• Contract: Full school-year opportunity with potential for renewal

Responsibilities

As a school-based SLP, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
• Complete evaluations and participate in the development of IEP goals
• Provide individual and/or small-group therapy
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related-service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students’ educational plans
• Maintain appropriate documentation and progress notes
• Help students develop the communication skills they need to succeed academically and socially

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA certification or eligibility
• Eligible for Georgia SLP licensure
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for working with children and students with disabilities
