Why Join Us We value and support our caregivers with benefits designed to help you succeed: Mileage reimbursement Paid orientation Paid annual training Increased hourly rates for select territories within Orange County What You’ll Do Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, incontinence care, transfers, and ambulation Provide meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping, laundry, and light housekeeping Support daily activities and exercises as directed by the Plan of Care Observe and report changes in client condition Build positive relationships with clients and families while delivering exceptional care Qualifications Required: Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance – driving may be necessary in this role Required: Experience working with older adults and/or physically disabled individuals Required: Professional caregiver experience, nursing student clinical experience, or active CNA certification Preferred: Active HCA registration (Home Care Aide) Preferred: 6 months professional caregiving experience BLS certification required within 30 days of hire Physical Demands and Work Environment The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Adaptations can be made to accommodate team members with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. In a healthcare setting, exposure to bodily fluids, infectious diseases, and conditions typical to the field is expected. Routine use of standard medical equipment and tools associated with clinical care is essential.
