NOW HIRING! Communications Specialist (Contract)
Location: Remote (requires onsite training in Southfield, MI)
Pay: $23/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Duration: 6-9 months
Position Summary:
Seeking a creative and organized Communications Specialist to support internal communications, employee engagement, and company branding initiatives. This remote role is ideal for candidates located in Southeast Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Redesign and update posters, presentations, and communication materials.
- Create and distribute company communications, including HR announcements, policy updates, company news, and IT/security updates.
- Develop employee newsletters and engagement content.
- Design safety posters, digital displays, and other internal communications.
- Collaborate with HR, Safety, IT, and business leaders on communication projects.
Qualifications:
- Adobe Creative Suite or similar design experience.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills.
- HTML email design/coding knowledge.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Internal communications or newsletter experience.
- Photography/content creation skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
