Job Description

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and design individualized treatment strategies aimed at helping them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Evidence-Based Practices: Use research-backed interventions to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday living activities
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work collaboratively with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Instruct patients and caregivers on therapy methods that foster ongoing recovery and development at home
• Track Progress and Adapt Interventions: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the path to success

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continued education or additional certifications highly encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Required certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
