What is an Association Coordinator? The association coordinator is the face of our organization. This multi‑faceted position acts as a liaison between HOA board members, homeowners, and vendors. You will take ultimate ownership of all tasks and projects, champion customer service, manage vendor relationships, and operate your portfolio of communities with a positive attitude. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Live the Same Day Response Policy passionately. Engage with board members and homeowners in your communities. Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for a portfolio of small associations. Plan for and facilitate association board meetings and annual meetings. Handle vendor relations, including bidding and project management processes. Consult with other departments to support your communities. Provide risk management, insurance, and litigation support. Prepare budgets and manage the finances of the associations. Be available for occasional after‑hour emergencies. Perform additional tasks as necessary. What Does it Take to Be a Great Association Coordinator? You must have a customer‑centric positive attitude, extreme ownership of tasks, be a team‑player, coachable, highly organized, accountable, and a fantastic multi‑tasker. Skills and Experience Required At least six years of professional work or related experience in administrative duties. High‑level organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to adapt to other business computer systems. Strong customer‑friendly and informative communication skills. Experience with financial statements and budgets. Comfortable facilitating board meetings when requested by boards. Conflict management skills in stressful situations. Experience gathering bids for small to large projects and managing those projects for the community. Training Program Assigned a mentor to guide you on the job. Complete a unique in‑house, web‑based learning academy with mentor guidance. Keep informed of changes in laws and seasonal topics throughout the year. Learn laws for other states as we expand across the US. Follow a well‑structured career track plan with a six‑month review.
