Cybersecurity Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the water solutions industry, is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join their team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be part of the Information Security Department supporting the cybersecurity initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin What's the Job? Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures. Participate in and lead incident response activities, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security incidents and breaches. Implement data security measures using tools such as Microsoft Defender, EDR platforms, and MDR enhancements. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on systems, applications, and networks to identify potential weaknesses. Monitor security logs and alerts from various sources to detect and respond to potential security incidents. What's Needed? Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, IT Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant work experience. Strong knowledge and experience deploying cybersecurity principles, best practices, technologies, and standards. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners. Hands-on technical experience with problem-solving and analytics skills.
