Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in a hospital radiology department, requiring ARRT (CT)(R) certification and the ability to perform both CT and diagnostic X-ray exams independently.

Details

• Hospital radiology department located on the main building, first floor
• Performs CT exams as well as diagnostic X-ray, OR/fluoro, interventional, trauma, and portable cases
• Uses GE and Konica equipment
• Documents in Meditech and Centricity PACS
• 12-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call coverage required, including weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (CT)(R) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Experience with Meditech and PACS systems preferred
• Proficiency in all aspects of diagnostic radiology, including OR/fluoro, interventional cases, trauma, and portable exams
• Exceptional customer service skills required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida position)
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Independently performs all CT and diagnostic X-ray exams and procedures
• The facility is a 257-bed acute care hospital and is the only hospital in its tri-county area offering open heart surgery, a Joint Commission-accredited Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center
• The facility also provides cardiovascular and trauma injury care, a Cancer Care Center, and emergency services including a main ER, Pediatric ER, and a satellite ER
• Black scrubs required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
