Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for an ED Holding Unit RN!

Job Description:
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Schedule:
- Weekdays
- Every other weekend (required)
- Orientation/Start Date: Held every other week on Thursday

Key Details:
- Patient Ratios: 5:1
- Patient Population: Adults/Geriatrics
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- 1 year of specialty experience
- First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- CPI (available through Qualivis, must be scheduled/obtained >1 week before start)
- Floating: May float to ED if necessary
- License:
- WV/Compact RN License required
- Pending License accepted for submission (must have active license to submit)

Special Skill Requirements:
- Telemetry and ER Holding Experience Preferred
- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills:
- Accessing Ports
- Blood Product Administration
- Peripheral Line Care/Management
- Starting IVs
- Medications Management:
- Heparin Protocols
- Managing Cardiac Drips (no titration)
- Neurological/Psychiatric Care:
- CVA
- Seizure disorders
- Substance withdrawal management
- Respiratory/Thoracic Care:
- External CPAP/BiPAP management
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Oxygen administration (face masks & portable tanks)
- Care of ventilated patients & tracheostomy management
