Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: Every other weekend

Assignment Details:

• Minimum experience: 1 year (1st-timers accepted)
• Contract length: 8 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• RN license in GA or Compact license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Key clinical skills:
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Central line care/management
• IV vasopressor administration
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Ventilator care
• Triage and ED workflow

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage and assessment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient status and response to interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and procedures.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing.
• All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start.
• Max RTO: 7 days; holiday RTO rules apply.
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs.
