The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles. **Essential Responsibilities:*** Design, develop, test, deploy, and support highly scalable, secure, and resilient applications using **Java**, **Spring Boot**, **Microservices**, and **Cloud-Native Architectures**.* Lead the design and implementation of **Blockchain Connectivity**, **Digital Asset Servicing**, **Tokenization**, **Custody Solutions**, **Settlement Processing**, and **Real-Time Payments**.* Build and optimize **Event-Driven Architectures**, **APIs**, integration services, and high-volume transaction processing platforms.* Develop enterprise solutions for mission-critical financial systems with a focus on **Scalability**, **Performance**, **Reliability**, and **Security**.* Partner with business, product, architecture, operations, compliance, risk, and security teams to deliver innovative technical solutions.* Drive engineering excellence through **Domain-Driven Design (DDD)**, **API-First Development**, **DevOps**, **Automation**, and **Secure Coding Practices**.* Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, technical design sessions, and governance activities to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.* Champion **Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)** principles, proactive monitoring, observability, and continuous platform improvement.**Basic Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience - Five to six years of relevant experienceRequired Skills & Experience* Advanced expertise in **Java**, **Spring Framework**, **Spring Boot**, **REST APIs**, **Microservices Architecture**, and enterprise application development.* Strong experience building and deploying applications on **Cloud Platforms** with **Containerization** and **Kubernetes**.* Expertise in **Event-Driven Systems** using **Apache Kafka** or similar messaging technologies.* Deep understanding of **Distributed Systems**, **Object-Oriented Design**, **Software Design Patterns**, and **Domain-Driven Design (DDD)**.* Experience designing and supporting **High-Throughput**, **Low-Latency**, and **Mission-Critical Transaction Processing Systems**.* Strong knowledge of **CI/CD Pipelines**, **Infrastructure Automation**, **Observability**, **Monitoring**, and modern **DevOps Practices**.* Understanding of **Digital Assets**, **Blockchain Technologies**, **Tokenization Platforms**, and **Enterprise Blockchain Integration**.* Knowledge of **Stablecoins**, **Digital Wallets**, **Tokenized Asset Lifecycles**, **Custody Models**, **Settlement Workflows**, and **Blockchain-Based Transaction Processing**.* Passion for **Emerging Technologies**, innovation, and continuous learning within the digital assets ecosystem.**Location expectations** This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.**Benefits:**Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
