Seeking a new opportunity within a school district? Spindle proudly collaborates with an outstanding school district in Yreka, CA, in search of a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join their team for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year!
Special Education Teacher Job Description:
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.
• Provide differentiated instruction and support to students with diverse learning styles and abilities, including those with learning disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with parents, fellow teachers, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Utilize specialized teaching techniques, assistive technologies, and adaptive materials to accommodate students' learning requirements and facilitate their progress towards educational goals.
• Caseload details: Multiple caseloads available across K–12 (Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe)
Assignment Details:
• School Year: 2026–2027 (NSY)
• Hours: Full-time
• Number of Positions: 1
• Traveler-Friendly: Travelers are welcomed and encouraged to apply
Pay & Benefits:
Highly competitive compensation: $45-$55/hour

20–30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
