The position is for In-Person only. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running and prior school-based experience as a School Psychologist (Psych) is Required . Job Type: Contract (W2) School Psychologist Job Duties: oConduct assessments (intelligence, achievement, functional, behavioral, social, emotional, and curriculum-based assessment) oInterpret results for special education eligibility and individual educational needs oProvide case management and coordination. Crisis intervention when appropriate oKnowledge of state and federal legislation for disabilities oCommunicate effectively both orally and in writing, with staff, students and families. oLead collaboration and integration strategies. oFunction as an effective member of the Multi-disciplinary Team. oExperience leading teams in manifestation determinations, functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans. oAbility to identify individual student needs and develop effective recommendations for the multi-disciplinary team.
