Job Description:

- Unit Information:
- Location: Good Samaritan Hospital
- Address: 2425 Good Samaritan Dr San Jose, CA 95124
- Floor: Emergency Department
- Number of Beds: 36
- Staffing Levels: 113 dedicated professionals
- Patient Ratios: 4:1; Critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1

- Opportunities Await:
- Shifts Available:
- 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Diverse Team Composition:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 Sitters
- Night Shift: Varied personnel for optimal patient care

- Required Expertise:
- Must Have:
- 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting
- Preferred Skills:
- Charge nurse experience
- Prior travel/interim experience in California

- Unit Highlights:
- Specialize in Stroke and STEMI care
- Work with top-notch equipment (Phillips)
- Utilize Meditech EMR for streamlined processes

- Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
- Passionate about providing excellent patient care

- Certifications Needed:
- PALS
- ACLS
- BLS

- Additional Information:
- Dress Code: Scrubs - no specific color
- Weekends: Work every other weekend
