Location 10500 Old Hwy 99 S, Dillard, OR, 97432, United States Job Category Plant Operations/Production Management Industry Operations - Admin Employment Type Full-time Purpose The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of all mechanical and electrical work in the facility. Lead in the execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs and inventory tracking procedures. Key Responsibilities Lead the maintenance team and provide support in a 24/7 operating environment. Ensure safety of all team members and contractors working in the plant or department by driving continuous improvement. This includes supporting all corporate safety programs; developing SOP’s, identifying and eliminating hazards, and enforcing all safety rules & regulations Ensure compliance with all standards and programs (safety, environmental, quality, maintenance and manufacturing policies and procedures) within area of responsibility Forecast, develop, and manage the maintenance budget Champion the utilization of EAM in their areas of responsibility Work cooperatively with other departments to meet plant objectives, diagnose complex equipment problems, meet plant goals and manage department budget Manage and oversee parts and inventory stores Work closely with engineering on developing plans for improvements Lead the Capex justification and approval process for the plant Initiate & lead in process improvement, cost reduction and capital project programs Work closely with internal and external customers to accomplish plant objectives Perform other duties as necessary Demonstrated leader with Roseburg’s Core Values Required Qualifications Ten (10) plus years directly related maintenance management experience, or any combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key duties of this position Knowledge of plant equipment, operations, predictive/preventive maintenance systems and effective project management practices Ability to work in and maintain a highly functional team environment Ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff and vendors Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills Demonstrated organizational, budgeting and computer skills Ability to effectively troubleshoot machinery through the use of blue prints, P&ID schematics and root/cause failure analysis Preferred Qualifications Experience in wood products facilities Benefits Bonus opportunities based on company and individual performance 401(k) with up to 4% company match and 3% automatic company contribution Vacation starting at 3 weeks and 11 paid holidays per year Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance options Mental health benefits for the entire family, including 8 free annual sessions per person Wellness programs and incentives , including biometric screenings & wellness challenges Paid time away from work for illness or injury, as well as paid parental bonding time Health Savings Account (HSA) with company contributions and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Company matchfor charitable contributions Education assistance and professional development support Financial and retirement counseling Additional voluntary benefits including pet insurance, student loan refinancing, and exclusive scholarships for child dependents, and more!
