Paid Search Manager

STAPHAUS is a specialized digital marketing agency and consultancy dedicated to the furniture and design industry. We partner with high-end D2C e-commerce brands and B2B companies to help them navigate the digital landscape, drive revenue, and generate qualified leads. About the Role You will be responsible for strategy, execution, and optimization across channels like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Amazon Ads, among others. You will assess channel contributions to overall growth and efficiency and make key decisions about spend allocation across channels. This is not a high-level delegation role. We need an active practitioner who enjoys being in the weeds of ad accounts. What You Will Actually Do Campaign Management: Build, launch, and manage paid campaigns. Budget Allocation: Direct and pace ad spend across platforms, balancing short-term revenue with longer-term goals. Data & Attribution: Monitor and report on core KPIs, especially CAC/CPL and ROAS. You will need to make sense of complex attribution paths and ensure all metrics are measurable, accurate, and available for a variety of analyses. Creative Testing: Partner with our creative team to develop and execute tests for ad copy, imagery, and video assets, always keeping within our client’s brand standards. Continuous Optimization: Routinely audit accounts for wasted spend, strategic improvements, and ad fatigue. Strategy: Help onboard new accounts by developing scalable strategies based on data, competitor analysis, and a client’s particular needs. What We Are Looking For 3 to 6 years of direct experience actively managing paid media budgets and executing campaigns hands-on (not via an agency). Deep, technical proficiency in Google Ads. E-commerce experience is a huge plus. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with modern analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Looker Studio). A genuine interest in the furniture and design industry. The Reality Check (Why this might not be for you) If you are used to large companies where the established processes guide what you do every day, this role will be difficult. We value sustainable, profitable growth over standard “best practices” and vanity metrics. You need to be comfortable defending your decisions with hard data. If your experience is entirely focused on managing external agencies rather than pulling the levers yourself, you will not succeed here.
