Description

• Assess patients in either an inpatient or outpatient context and craft tailored treatment plans that meet their specific needs
• Administer targeted physical therapy techniques that prioritize strength, balance, mobility, and overall functionality
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide patient education for families on therapeutic milestones, discharge criteria, and at-home exercise routines
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress adhering to both facility and regulatory standards
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team discussions and care rounds to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Any specialized certifications, such as in geriatrics or neurology, would be advantageous but are not required
