Med Surg Tele RN (Night Shift) — Telemetry Registered Nurse Location: Lincoln, IL (Onsite) Schedule: Nights | 3x12s | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM Pay: $54/hr Summary and Responsibilities Hire for a Med Surg Tele RN / MS Tele RN to support adult acute care patients on a Med/Surg + Telemetry unit. Provide direct patient care: assessments, vitals, ongoing monitoring, and timely escalation of condition changes. Perform telemetry monitoring and rhythm observation per unit standards; communicate abnormalities to the care team. Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments safely and accurately. Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary teams to execute patient care plans and discharge readiness. Document care, assessments, and interventions in Cerner (EHR/charting) with strong accuracy and timeliness. Float as needed based on staffing/census. Participate in on‑call rotation as required. Qualifications and Skills Active Illinois RN license (required). Recent Med Surg / Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse experience (required). Comfortable managing multiple patients, prioritizing care, and working independently on nights. Telemetry competency and familiarity with cardiac monitoring workflows.
