Job Opportunity – Emergency Department / Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Iowa

Schedule: 13-week assignment, every 3rd weekend required, holiday coverage as needed. Must be available to work primarily in the Emergency Department with occasional Medical-Surgical coverage.

• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location

Requirements:

• Active Iowa RN or Compact State License
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred
• BSN preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Current Emergency Room skills checklist (within 1 year) required
• Current Medical-Surgical skills checklist (within 1 year) required
• Two supervisory references from within the past two years required
• Reliable personal vehicle required
• Maximum 5 days requested time off permitted (must be specified at time of application)
