Position Summary This position plays a supporting role in the shipping, receiving, and distribution department. The warehouse associate will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities. Schedule Monday - Friday, 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM Flexibility required; schedule is subject to change based on business needs. An ideal applicant will be highly skilled, consistently punctual and enjoy working with a variety of skilled individuals who share similar values and goals. General Duties/Responsibilities Unload materials from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment Load outbound trucks with correct inventory Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies Transport raw materials to production workstations Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Check, verify and fill customer invoices Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities Keep warehouse clean and organized daily Additional duties as assigned Food Safety and Quality Responsibilities Follow GMP policy when in the production facility and encourage your team to do the same. Understand our SQF policies relating to pest control, visitors, allergen management, and cleaning and sanitation. Demonstrate awareness of Management's Commitment to SQF and work towards Food Safety and Quality and help the company meet this commitment. If there is a problem that involves food quality and safety, report to the Quality Assurance Manager so that the CAPA (corrective action, preventative action) log may be filled out, the situation be investigated, and resolved with the goal of continuous improvement of food quality and safety. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner Ability to navigate a variety of computer software applications, previous ERP experience a plus Able to be self directed and stay until completion Fully capable of updating computer generated inventories and documents Good organizational and time management skills Team player with attention to detail and strong organizational skills Must be willing and able to work overtime, extended shifts, weekends, and schedule adjustments as required to support business operations.
