Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Approaches: Recognize patient needs and formulate individualized therapy plans designed to meet their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic and coordinated care
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Share knowledge with patients and their families on therapy techniques to ensure continued progress beyond therapy sessions
• Track and Adjust Treatment Plans: Monitor clinical progress and fine-tune strategies as necessary, ensuring goals are met effectively

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education and advanced certifications highly encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
