Your Responsibilities

As a Hematology/Oncology Physician, your duties will include:

• Delivering comprehensive hematology and oncology services to Veterans in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
• Conducting thorough medical and psychosocial evaluations.
• Coordinating specialty consultations within the VA and community care networks.
• Managing chronic diseases and providing survivorship care.
• Educating patients and families through various communication methods, including in-person visits, phone calls, mail, and secure messaging.
• Supervising and mentoring medical residents and students.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams.
• Possibly overseeing nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
