Position Overview As a GAP Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in our claims operations by accurately evaluating and settling automotive extended warranty claims. We are looking for a precision-minded professional who can balance policy compliance with outstanding customer service, ensuring a seamless claims experience for all parties involved. Key Responsibilities Verify claim information, including coverage, eligibility, and supporting documentation. Conduct thorough investigations and assessments to determine the validity of claims and contract coverage. Collaborate with internal departments and external parties to gather relevant information and resolve claim-related issues. Ensure compliance with company guidelines, industry regulations, and legal requirements throughout the claims administration process. Accurately and efficiently process claims within established timelines. Communicate claim decisions, approvals, and denials to appropriate parties promptly and professionally. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and escalations related to warranty claims. Maintain accurate and organized claim records and documentation. Identify trends and areas for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of enhanced claims-handling procedures. Required Qualifications: Experience: 3+ years of recent experience in automotive claims administration or a related field. Industry Background : Previous experience working in an auto dealership, financial institution, or customer service environment. Specialized Claims: Prior experience in total loss, property and casualty (P&C), or liability investigation is strongly preferred. Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and repair processes, alongside familiarity with industry warranty regulations, guidelines, and best practices. Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and high accuracy in handling multiple claims efficiently. Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration. Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making abilities with a proactive, self-starting approach requiring minimal supervision. Software Proficiency : Demonstrated ability to use claims management systems and software effectively. Work Ethic: Reliable, trustworthy, highly professional, and takes pride in delivering quality work while maintaining strict confidentiality. Work Environment & Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday, one Saturday per month. Hybrid/Remote work with occasional in-office time periodically. Must be able to work extended hours during peak seasons. Other Requirements Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to pass background checks and drug testing. Why Join Us?
