Outreach Program Monitor - RPC

Our client is a nonprofit providing housing, medical respite care, and support services to help individuals experiencing homelessness achieve stability and independence. The Outreach Program Monitor - RPC will support community outreach efforts and assist homeless individuals in Arlington, VA. The position offers a pay rate of $20.00 per hour and is part‑time, contract arrangement. This is a part‑time position based in Arlington, VA, paying $20.00 per hour. Responsibilities Actively seek out and work with homeless persons throughout Arlington County initiating engagement to support additional services. Build trust and rapport by offering emergency assistance such as food, clothing, sleeping bags, and shower vouchers. Serve as the first point of contact for clients and community members, maintaining a friendly, courteous attitude with strong communication skills. Participate in outreach programs and community outreach calls. Assist clients in accessing available services and ensure safety during crisis situations. Maintain logs of client contacts, donations, and daily facility activities. Coordinate efforts with community partners to facilitate housing and service access for homeless individuals. Ensure safety of clients and staff through safety procedures and emergency protocols. Conduct informal assessments to determine clients’ social and economic needs. Develop and implement day programming for clients. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. Qualifications High School Diploma required; experience in human services preferred. Experience working with homeless individuals and in multicultural settings preferred. Patience, persistence, and concern for client welfare required.
