AP Specialist (JN -052025-396561) Culver City, California Salary: USD 24 - USD 26 per hour Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Culver City, CA System: QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) Position Summary The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for full‑cycle accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate, timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and hands‑on experience with QuickBooks in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process full‑cycle accounts payable, including invoice intake, review, coding, approval, and payment in QuickBooks Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation (2-way and 3-way matching) Verify accuracy of vendor invoices, GL coding, cost centers, and required approvals Manage weekly and bi-weekly payment runs (ACH, check, wire) Maintain vendor master files, including W‑9 collection, banking information, and vendor setup in QuickBooks Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies or past‑due balances Respond to internal and external vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account issues Assist with month‑end close by preparing AP accruals and reconciling AP subledger to the general ledger Support annual audits by preparing AP schedules and providing supporting documentation Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures Assist with 1099 preparation and reporting Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth invoice processing Required Qualifications 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including full-cycle AP Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) Experience processing high-volume invoices Application Information Name: Please include your first and last name.
