Bringing Hope to Students. At CHADS Coalition, we believe every young person deserves access to compassionate mental health care before a crisis occurs. We're seeking a licensed therapist who is passionate about working with children and adolescents primarily in a school setting. This part-time role offers meaningful daytime work, a consistent school-based schedule, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people. What You'll Do: As a Youth Mental Health Therapist, you'll provide evidence-based counseling and collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to support student well-being. Key responsibilities include: Provide individual counseling for students experiencing anxiety, depression, self-injury, suicidal ideation, and other behavioral or emotional concerns. Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver services primarily in partner schools, with occasional telehealth or office-based sessions as appropriate. Coordinate care with parents, school personnel, healthcare providers, and community resources. Provide case management and connect families with needed supports. Respond to mental health crises following CHADS clinical protocols. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and required program data. Participate in clinical consultation, team meetings, and professional development. What We're Looking For Builds trusting relationships with children and adolescents. QUALIFICATIONS

Required: Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Current Missouri licensure as an LMSW, PLPC, LPC, LCSW, or other independently licensed mental health professional. Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, or young adults. Strong assessment, treatment planning, communication, and documentation skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel. Preferred: School-based counseling experience. Experience facilitating adolescent groups. Knowledge of suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. Starting Rate: $37.00+ per hour, based on experience This is a part-time, school-based, pay per session position with services provided primarily during regular school hours. Therapists are assigned to partner schools and maintain a consistent schedule during the academic year. Some after‑school, evening, telehealth, or office‑based sessions may occasionally be needed.
