As a Managing Technician at Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST), you'll not only have access to experienced local clinical leadership and support, but you'll also be part of LEARN Behavioral—a collective group of ABA providers delivering collaborative care to communities from coast-to-coast.

Are you an experienced ABA professional who enjoys working directly with clients while continuing to develop your clinical skills? As a Managing Technician, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through a mix of direct client care and indirect clinical support.

You'll help implement individualized treatment plans, monitor client progress, and collaborate with supervising Behavior Analysts to support high-quality care. You'll also have opportunities to share your knowledge with fellow Behavior Technicians and contribute to a collaborative clinical team.

What You'll Bring

• Education: A master's degree in ABA or a related field, or current enrollment in a qualifying graduate program.
• Experience: At least one year of experience working in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) field.
• Credentials: Any certification, registration, or licensure required by applicable state regulations and company policies.
• Clinical Knowledge: An understanding of ABA principles and the ability to implement treatment protocols accurately and consistently.
• Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with colleagues, and maintain clear, accurate documentation.
• Professionalism: A commitment to reliability, accountability, ethical practice, and ongoing professional development.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Managing Technician at Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST), you'll balance hands-on treatment with indirect clinical responsibilities that support client progress and quality care.

• Deliver Quality Care: Provide direct ABA treatment to clients using established treatment plans and protocols.
• Support Clinical Progress: Collect and analyze treatment data, document observations, and communicate relevant updates to the supervising Behavior Analyst.
• Partner with Clinical Leadership: Assist with assessments, treatment implementation, protocol updates, and family guidance as directed by the supervising Behavior Analyst.
• Promote Consistent Care: Help ensure treatment protocols are implemented accurately and consistently while following established clinical and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Your Team: Share observations, provide guidance to fellow Behavior Technicians as needed, and contribute to a supportive clinical environment.
• Keep Services Running Smoothly: Assist with scheduled treatment coverage, maintain timely and accurate documentation, and complete required administrative tasks.
• Continue Learning: Participate in required trainings, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to strengthen your clinical knowledge and skills.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to walk, run, stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, reach, balance, and move quickly as needed. Must push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs., maintain client safety awareness, respond quickly to changes, and safely manage client movement per ABA guidelines. Requires stamina, sustained concentration, effective communication, and ability to work in loud, high-stimulation environments. Must assist with hygiene and toileting as needed.
