Communication Specialist - Full Time - Longview, WA

Wage : $26.33-$27.93/HR

Available Schedule : Sunday 7am-3pm, Monday - Tuesday 3pm-11pm, Wednesday - Thursday 11pm-7am

What You Can Expect

• Monitor cameras and other security surveillance systems.

• Dispatch officers and direct emergency response members using various methods of communication.

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.

• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client's premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Provide detailed written reports.

• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.

• Standard computer / technology skills needed.

• At least 6 months prior dispatch experience and 6 months security experience required.

• Customer service background preferred.

• Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!

• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.

• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
