Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Mountain Home, AR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit while providing leadership within the nursing team
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients served through the model of Shared Governance
• Collaborate with all members of the healthcare team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
• Float to support various units including ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psychiatry, and inpatient rehabilitation units

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing; license must be in-hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with stepdown experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
• Active Nursys verification required with submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
