Role Description We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Turf Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will involve overseeing all aspects of turf propagation, from planting to harvest, ensuring that our production meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Supervision:

• Develop and implement comprehensive plans for turf propagation.
• Supervise daily farming operations to ensure optimal production practices.

Turf Management:

• Monitor soil health, moisture levels, and overall turf health.
• Implement pest and weed management strategies in accordance with best practices.

Team Leadership:

• Train and lead a team of farm workers in best practices for turf production.
• Foster a collaborative and safe working environment.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections of turf quality and growth stages.
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company standards.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain detailed production records and reports.
• Analyze data to improve production efficiency and quality.

Expectations:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Turfgrass Management or a related field is required.
• Knowledge : Strong understanding of warm season turf varieties and their specific cultivation needs.
• Skills : Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges effectively.
