Staff Accountant

Ledgent

We are seeking a Staff Accountant with strong accounting fundamentals and advanced Excel skills to support daily accounting operations and financial reporting.
Responsibilities

Perform bank and account reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
Analyze transactions and ensure proper application of debits and credits.
Research and resolve discrepancies and reconciling items.
Support audits and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of accounting experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits.
Proven experience with bank reconciliations.
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred: Experience in investment management, wealth management, or financial services environments.
