Position Overview The Concession Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a select group of concession stands or portable locations for an event. The Concession Supervisor ensures quality product and service for several concessions by managing a group of concession stand workers, hourly employees, temporary staff or non‑profit staff. The supervisor must be familiar with all food and beverage items available as well as preparation techniques and quantities. Essential Job Functions As key for success for the workers assigned to report to you each event, the Concession Supervisor ensures all pre‑game inventory is accounted for and verified with the Stand Manager on the day of the event. They manage assigned locations by communicating with various points of contact (Warehouse, Concession Manager, Assistant Concession Manager, other Supervisors) to ensure the satisfaction of all guests and workers at each concession location. They assist the Stand Manager with guest complaints to ensure satisfactory resolution. At event end, they ensure all necessary paperwork is accurately completed by each Concession Stand Manager and turned in for final accounting. They coach each Concession Stand Manager on closing duties, clean and prepare the concession location for future events, inspect stands at end of day and complete closeout. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Must have a valid TEAM, Title 4 or TIP certification card Must have a valid County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each event worked Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must complete all pre‑employment forms, successfully pass a background check and math assessment involving all U.S. monetary units Must be able to work independently as well as with a group Must be able to work in a fast‑paced high‑stress environment Preferred: 3+ years supervisory experience in a high‑volume restaurant environment or another stadium/arena Other Skills and Abilities Ability to supervise a team with varying skill levels and abilities Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis and stay on feet for extended periods Ability to work non‑traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise The above description is not all‑inclusive and may include other related duties as needed.
