Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a unit that values your skills while working in Thornton, CO. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial cardiac and vascular data.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT certification required.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Ability to perform procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacer/ICD management, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress testing.
• Must be able to take on-call responsibilities and be able to be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab.

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS certification (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) preferred.
• Experience with RCI, holding, and monitoring.
• Experience with GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:45 to 16:15.
• Typical unit composition: 2 cath suites, 3 holding bays, staffing of 9.
• Patient ratio: approximately 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area.
• EMR: Meditech.
• Must participate in department on-call rotation. Call is divided across the 4-week schedule and typically includes 8-12 call days with attempts to limit weekend coverage.
