Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 77-bed Medical Unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8 on nights
• Operate and monitor equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Work various shift lengths and days as required; flexibility is essential
• Float to additional units as needed, including a cardiovascular unit and a general care unit
• Adhere to professional nursing attire and facility dress code standards
• Complete unit-specific orientation and training program upon assignment start

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; up to 10 years preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption prior to contract start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR systems
• Prior experience with wound vac management and chest tube care
• Background in cardiovascular or medical-surgical nursing
