Data Analyst

Our client has a Data Analyst opening supporting the Decision Science & Strategy team. This role is heavily focused on SQL, data processing, campaign segmentation, reporting, and Power BI, with the data ultimately supporting nonprofit fundraising campaigns. The position is hybrid with 1-2 remote days per week What they are looking for: 3+ years of data processing, programming, and data analysis experience Strong SQL is critical - must be able to write and optimize queries, validate data, and work across multiple data sources Hands-on experience with Azure, SQL, SSIS, Power BI, and Excel Experience cleaning, processing, deduplicating, and segmenting large datasets Ability to create campaign/output files that are ready to be sent to external vendors Experience building and maintaining ELT/data pipelines and integrations Strong Power BI dashboard and reporting experience Experience improving or automating manual data processes Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Nice to have: Python or PowerShell automation Nonprofit or fundraising experience Experience with nonprofit CRMs such as Salesforce NPSP, Raiser's Edge, or EveryAction Direct mail, digital marketing, donor segmentation, source coding, or RFM modeling experience Understanding of fundraising campaign metrics and multi-channel reporting Important: This is not just a BI/reporting position. We need candidates who are comfortable getting into the underlying data - SQL, data cleansing, segmentation, deduplication, data pipelines, and producing campaign-ready output files - in addition to dashboards and reporting.
