Polysomnographic Technologist

$2521.44/week - Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures to assist with diagnostic interpretation. They ensure patient safety, provide education, and maintain regulatory compliance throughout their clinical duties. Responsibilities: Perform CT scans accurately according to established protocols and radiologist instructions. Practice radiation safety measures and adhere to ALARA standards to minimize exposure. Verify patient identity through two identifiers and communicate procedure details effectively. Complete all documentation, including medical history, consent forms, and procedural paperwork. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with service engineers for maintenance. Assist with clerical tasks, patient transport, and cross-train with other modalities when required. Qualifications: Hold ARRT registration in Computed Tomography (CT) or be eligible to obtain it within one year of hire. Possess current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days. Prior experience in CT or related modalities preferred. Demonstrate effective communication skills and ability to work independently. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of electronic record systems like PACS and RIS/HIS. Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
