UFC GYM Fitness Sales Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Fitness Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience personally and through Coach’s supervision. They deliver excellent member service along with Private Training and supplement revenue, address member and employee concerns, oversee scheduling and time‑keeping, and communicate and enforce company and club policies and procedures. They are accountable for attaining revenue goals related to Private Training and supplements and must be available 7 days a week, including mornings and nights.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sell and conduct Private Training and Small Group Training sessions. Execute effective prospecting strategies, conduct guest tours, and perform staff turnover processes. Service introductory PT packages, build value, and re‑sign clients on full programs to hand off to coaching staff. Generate member prospecting opportunities in person and digitally to schedule complimentary appointments for personal training programs. Accurately administer client programs, supplement purchases, measurement tracking, and workout programs; arrive on time and prepared for training appointments. Assist in all revenue‑generating activities including complimentary workouts, supplement booths, body‑fat tables, seminars, workshops, etc. Achieve monthly revenue objectives for Private Training and supplements as set by the Company. Review daily club sales performance and individual employee performance statistics with the Fitness Manager and Vice President to identify issues and clarify needed behaviors. Administer company policies related to the sales process. Independently schedule and manage client appointments, coordinate directly with clients to arrange sessions, meetings, or visits based on availability, and maintain up‑to‑date scheduling records to accommodate changes or cancellations. Oversee the full scheduling lifecycle for individual client appointments and coordinate club administration tasks. Work with the Fitness Manager to ensure coaches are productive, revenue and service goals are met, and the club remains on track to attain daily, weekly, and monthly financial goals. Set monthly, weekly, and daily goals aligned with or above company standards and conduct meetings with coaches to review performance, operations, and provide guidance toward achieving personal and club goals. Handle member service matters such as tours, explaining services, signing members up for training agreements and appointments, mediating issues, and escalating appropriately. Perform various administrative and housekeeping duties, alert operations staff of repairs and maintenance needs, and conduct daily facility walk‑throughs. Supervise coach sales activities, review agreements, and prepare daily paperwork while ensuring compliance checks of club systems and employee performance.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS

The Fitness PT Sales Admin reports directly to the Fitness Manager and/or General Manager, communicating and enforcing all policies and procedures with the Coaching Team. Duties require interaction with all club members and employees.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

In‑depth knowledge of Personal Training techniques from assessment to program design and sales. Ability to operate and adjust all fitness equipment. Knowledge of company policies, practices, emergency and safety procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude. Strong customer service focus; responds professionally to guests, members, and staff. Understands and follows oral and written instructions; communicates clearly and concisely. Strong organizational skills, with basic record‑keeping practices; can organize and prioritize multiple tasks. Computer proficient with basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Adheres to meal and rest break periods and clocks in/out for all shift times. Minimum of one certification recognized by UFC Gym. Current CPR/AED certification. High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Four‑year degree in a related field recognized by UFC Gym. Minimum 2 years of related experience; experience in management or employee relations preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The employee must regularly stand, lift heavy weights, squat, bend, reach, spot, and stand or walk for prolonged periods. Ability to lift or move up to 45+ lbs is required.
