FLEX Product Designer

This is a temporary position.The assignment duration is through September 27, 2027.JOB SUMMARYMarriott International is seeking a FLEX Product Designer, to create intuitive, engaging, and customer-centered experiences within the Marriott Bonvoy App. This role partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, Analytics, Content Design, and Design teams to design seamless mobile experiences across the travel journey, including trip planning, booking management, stay preparation, in-stay interactions, and post-stay engagement. The position is responsible for transforming customer insights, business requirements, and technical considerations into intuitive design solutions that balance customer needs with business objectives. This role requires strong UX, interaction design, and visual design skills, along with a passion for creating simple, elegant experiences that improve both customer satisfaction and business outcomes.CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and ExperienceRequiredBachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.5+ years of experience in User Experience Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline designing consumer-facing digital products.Experience creating mobile application experiences using user-centered design methodologies, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and visual design tools such as Figma.PreferredExperience designing travel, hospitality, loyalty, commerce, marketplace, or subscription-based digital experiences.Experience working within enterprise design systems and creating scalable design solutions.Experience leveraging customer research, usability testing, analytics, and accessibility principles to inform design decisions.CORE WORK ACTIVITIESDesign intuitive mobile experiences that align customer needs, business objectives, and platform best practices.Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate customer experiences and design solutions.Translate customer insights, business requirements, and technical constraints into simple, user-centered design solutions.Design experiences that support trip planning, booking management, stay preparation, in-stay interactions, and post-stay engagement.Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle to deliver scalable design solutions.Utilize customer research, usability testing, analytics, and feedback to inform design decisions and experience improvements.Apply mobile platform standards and interaction patterns across iOS and Android experiences.Leverage and contribute to Marriott's Design System to ensure consistency across products and platforms.Produce development-ready designs, specifications, and supporting documentation for successful implementation.Present design concepts, rationale, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders through effective storytelling and visual communication.Participate in design reviews, critiques, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration sessions to improve customer experiences.Support usability testing, user acceptance testing, and design validation activities to ensure high-quality customer experiences.Design accessible and inclusive experiences that align with established accessibility standards and best practices.Manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality design work within established timelines.Stay current on emerging UX, mobile design, accessibility, travel, and hospitality trends to continuously improve customer experiences.At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
