Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care to pediatric through geriatric patients in a Medical Surgical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate individualized patient care plans, revising them based on patient response and clinical assessments.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care activities, ensuring compliance with care standards.
• Utilize assessment data to identify patient needs, including education and discharge planning.
• Recognize abnormal findings, report effectively, and incorporate findings into the plan of care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and legibly, including wound assessments, medication administration, and progress notes.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact license.
• Have at least 3 years of current medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months of travel nursing experience.
• Hold active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be proficient with the EPIC EMR system.
• Own reliable transportation and include permanent address in profile.
